Peter is a 54-year-old writer who splits his time between saving lives and making them up through storytelling. Yes, that's right, 54. He's a late starter to the world of writing, but he has a wealth of experiences to draw on.
As an Intensive Care Paramedic, he spends his days in high-pressure situations where things beep, flash, and occasionally, a “whoops.” When he’s off duty, he swaps the chaos for creativity, writing children’s picture books and adult literary fiction—because apparently one world of unpredictability just isn’t enough.
Based in rural NSW, Peter is surrounded by wide open spaces, big skies, and just enough peace and quiet to let his imagination run wild (or at least far enough to meet an occasional talking dog). He enjoys reading, writing, walking, music, laughing, and enthusiastically participating in life—preferably with a good story involved.
He has won several short story and writing competitions, which he modestly attributes to talent, practice, and possibly a suspiciously cooperative rhyming scheme.
